i sold a mk3 fiesta genuine wing on ebay in august, they paid me with a bank transfer straight away, i have contacted them via ebay questions but havent heard a reply since? any ideas what i can do? im happy to keep it in the garage for safe keeping just incase something has happened? anyone else had this issue?

I would give him till end of month, end of year if you feel it needs longer, to collect it, and if he don't, sell it on and keep the money.
Has be bought anything else from eBay since going on his feedback? If he has then he might be ignoring your messages due to just not wanting/needing it anymore and can't be arsed about the

he said he would arrange a courier to pick it up and that's the last i heard from him! i havent looked at his feedback to be fair so ill look later on!

Don't you think that's a bit off to ask for a full refund after such time?
Rob still has to pay eBay fees, and if he sells it again he would have to pay fees yet again, and may not sell the wing for as much money.
After such time, wouldn't you think a 50% refund would be ok?
Or accept the wing and sell it on your self?

A post you put further up states if someone wants it then sell it on and refund you, excuse me for assuming you didn't mean a full refund..

Anyhow, if your not bothered your not bothered, so there ya have it rob, flog it on, take out cost, and refund the rest, or if he's not bothered about the money, donate what's left to charity.

Jay, I'm going to say it in public, I think you've been a bit of a 'conquering device' here.

There would of been ways and means for rob to have got in contact with the seller but hadn't and left it til he thought it was forgotten about. Soosie has popped up and been 100% reasonable! and you've slated him. Maybe should of messages him than trying to hang him out to dry in public. I've shown you the same courtesy by posting this in public too.

Not slated him, and not hung him out to dry at all! He got funny with me in his reply so I responded with the same sort of attitude... Wouldn't be the first time a mod has done that in one of robs post would it Ryan.
Anyhow, him saying he wanted a refund is fine, but he could of at least offered the fees etc in his post, rather than assume we're all mind readers, how was I meant to know he was happy for cost to be deducted from it?? I didn't, I assumed, and in this case incorrectly.

Read my posts further up, I was all for giving the buyer longer, and saying give him till end of year etc, that's being fair, many people wouldn't wait so long nor give the buyer so long, they simply would of said fcuk it after a month.

Rob, sossie, sorry if I have offended, it was never my intention and I apologise, I'm sure between you both your come to an agreeable solution that suits.

keep it unlocked jay, no reason to lock it. sorted now with the buyer anyway. it will be available soon when i have time as i have a lot on my plate. more interested in trying to source some new genuine water pipes for my frst that are leaking, the joys of an old car eh

As for the water pipes, good luck with that fella, if it were me I would contact roose or samco and see if there make a set up in the matt finish black without brand logo and fit them, trying to get the pipes you need will be hard, and in years to come when one goes again, even harder

its the small pipe to the water feed to the turbo thats leaking, the one from the S-shape hose that connects to the top of the radiator and to the thermostat, but RS eddie has said the small water hose from the header tank to top of thermostat housing is the same thickness and i believe they are still available.

You can get that pipe off cvh engine car, and tbh that bore pipe is prob fitted on many fords, and as you need what, 8 inches of it, your get some of them easy as pie mate, don't even need to buy it from fords, I'm sure a motor factors or even Halfords would have some

im anal though, like my genuine ford goodies

I know, but you only pay for the name mate, ford don't even make there parts, it's the same pipe that tour get at a motor factors, just 1/10th the cost.
It's like head gaskets, Payne make them for ford, only difference is one has for stamped on it the other don't, and the fact ford will charge you prob £80+ now days, or Payne through motor factors about £25 lol

Still if I come across anything when looking in eBay etc I shall let ya know.
