im using Paint Shop Pro 6, and ive made mine 300 but then it forces a 151 for height, is this ok, its only 14kb though!!!

Press right mouse button on the image, select properties.

It will display the size of the image in bytes and also the image size.

For info, 20Kb = 20480 bytes

If you're usign phtooshop, remember to use the "Save for web" option, this will optimise the resultant jpeg, often reducing it's size to 1/4 the size of a paint shop pro produced image.
