How longs a piece of string!

A car is usually worth what someone will pay for it. No offense intended to any party here but low mileage and low ownership are what most people want. Although I have seen higher mile cars that have passed through several hands in better nick than cars that have stood doing nothing.

I sold a 1 owner 58k FRST 2years ago for 5.5k. A couple weeks after selling it I brought a 88k 5 owner FRST for 500quid

Vicki - 4k and I lock it away in my garage! I havent had a white one yet. Only silver to go after that!

there was a black 92 J FRST with 41k miles + FSH on ebay for 2.5K asking price!!!

they are pretty easy to find for this money!

this is a nice example though, but might be time for a considerable price adjustment ? :)

Thanks for all the responses.

The car is for sale at £5000, if someone views and makes a sensible offer it will be considered.

Big Power, you offered me £3000, that is never going to buy a car like this so i dont think i missed out at all, i am not in a real rush to sell and someone who appreciates a genuine car will understand her worth.

I imagine she has got to be one of the lowest mileage on an original engine if not the lowest with all docs to prove.

She drives like a dream and has the interior of a 2/3 year old car, except all the mod cons

Now that is very nice, not sure if you'll get £5k for a 14 year old car but it is a very fine example.

Looks brand-bloody-new inside!

Thanks for the comments! She is beautiful and a great example must be someone on here who can appreciate her!

As i have said i will take a sensible offer, but not £4000! She only costs me just over £500 a year to have and im putting next to no mileage on her so i would just keep her and sell her next year when she will be even rarer!

I'd appreciate 'her' (if it's a she), my bank account is just £4500 shy at the moment.

Good luck and nice car - my White FRST has 40,000 on the clock but it has suffered the famous fuel cap rust which I must get sorted.

BTW A Chipped FRST will stay with a Impreza but is a lot lot cheaper to run - I speak from experience

She is having a service next Friday, she has done about 2,500 miles since last one!

Someone buy her and lock her away.

The car is great. Always starts, even though sometimes its in the garage for 3 weeks without being used!

No blue smoke.

The other half took her out yesterday and had a lovely drive :)

I will not take £4000

I will only accept cash, i dont know how else someone would pay? In camels

The car is for sale at £5000, i will consider sensible offers, but i can keep her running for another year for around the £500 mark as i have said before so I have no probs in keeping her if there are no sensible offers as i feel the value will only go up due to the rareity of the car now!
