Can't believe this is still for sale. Esp at £4k.
Can't understand why people don't think a 15yr old car is worth this price.. Its a part of history and an RS.
My mate bought a 23k 1 owner FRST 3 years back for just over 6k. He had to beg her to sell it to him though as someone else had offered her the cash for it.
I'd say if its as mint as it looks, had no bodywork repairs and is original paint all over then you can get about 5k for it.

Thats what I thought, but still no takers at £4k!
Have a couple of people wanting to view, but thinking maybe i should keep her for a bit.
The reason i dropped was i saw a flat i wanted to buy and needed deposit money and now the flat has gone so dont need to free cash up urgently now.
Performance Ford have approached me about the car, wanting it this time next year for original price so maybe i should hold on to her for now. Really dont know what to do

Well Vickie I listed mine in the free local ads everyweek but got only 4 enquiries in total over 2 months all wanting to PX.
From ebay i put on tonnes of info and pictures and had a massive response again mainly people wanting to PX but around 15 different emails offering to PX
From Autotrader I had a far bigger response from people just wanting to look and buy rather than PX.
I put my mobile number for contact during the day and home number for the evenings and still get texts about it.
I had over 40 offers to view and PX in the end - I was asking for £3600 for a 42,500 mile one.
Hope this helps

Thanks for your input rmk36. If you read the whole post you may have seen that the price the car was for sale at the time of your comment was £4,000 not £5,000. And even though everyone has a right to their own opinion sometimes if you dont have something nice to say it is better to say nothing at all!
Ross rs and Leegt5, I'm really sorry but she was picked up by her new owner yesterday. She really is a mint car and I hope he enjoys her as much as i did.
Thanks for all the nice things everyone said about her, and everyone who said nasty things, hope you have a very long and enriched life!

VICKI :The car is great. Always starts, even though sometimes its in the garage for 3 weeks without being used!
No blue smoke.
The other half took her out yesterday and had a lovely drive![]()
I will not take £4000
I will only accept cash, i dont know how else someone would pay? In camels![]()
The car is for sale at £5000, i will consider sensible offers, but i can keep her running for another year for around the £500 mark as i have said before so I have no probs in keeping her if there are no sensible offers as i feel the value will only go up due to the rareity of the car now!
I will give you £500 for it 2moro. when can i pick it up...
Only messing hun, this looks an absolute stunner, everyone has probably said this, but if i had a spare 4-5k stashed away, you would gladly get my money for such a minter.
N the guy about the dials couldnt be more wrong, just because of the needles.. ha ha. Unless they must be 2i dials and your very handy with a tip ex brush...
Good luck with the sale. Suprised i havent seen you about?
