Radiant Red Fiesta RS Turbo - now £3250

Postby frst2006 on Sat Jun 20, 2009 2:38 pm

I have decided to put my H reg Fiesta RS Turbo up for sale.

I am selling the car due to needing something a bit more economical for work, that I can put a lot of miles on. Very reluctant sale.

The car has had a new engine not long ago, it has done about 8k from brand new.
The chassis mileage however, I have no idea to be honest.. but it has a solid shell.

I have owned the car for three years and have spent thousands on it, easily over 10k. I am quite sure I have replaced everything in the engine bay in that time, as well as various external parts.
The gearbox is also a freshly built Escort S2 box w/ LSD, that is still new.
The wheels - 16” mondeo wheels in anthracite – were recently resprayed and refurbed by Lepsons, and are in amazing condition. Tyres are 195/40/16 Dunlop Sport’s (all with lots of tread still).
All new brakes not long ago – EBC drilled/grooved discs, greenstuff pads, brand new callipers, new rear shoes, etc.
Also, recent work done includes all gaskets, and a T3 turbo (the last ones oil seals were on the way out).
Other mods include GRS large FMIntercooler, xr2i radiator (bigger than standard), full scorpion s/s system (w/ custom downpipe to accommodate turbo), Euro accessory rear lights, 60mm G-Max full suspension kit, stage 1 superchip, heavy duty engine mounts, lockwood dials, genuine headlight protectors.
The engine has a stage 3 head w/ kent cams, and a high spec, low comp bottom end (still 1600), the engine was built by a fiestaturbo.com member, and as stated has only done about 8k now.
The engine fan is set up on a manual switch next to the steering wheel as well (personal preference). Buyer can easily change back to standard if need be..

The only bad points are the odd small areas of rust emerging, eg. corner of windscreen, and some cracking coming through on the paint on the bonnet (even though that was resprayed not long ago).
Included is a large folder with the FSH of the car, going back to the start of the car’s life. The car is always kept clean, especially the engine bay.

This is a great condition car, looked after with a hell of a lot of new parts, and regularly serviced. The car is usually kept garaged and only used occasionally. It recently spent a whole year stored away in my garage (about a year ago). I have also only ever put Shell V-Power in the car, and the car is always warmed up and cooled down.

Spent a grand alone in the last month, and had a new MOT (June 2010). All the rear braking components were replaced with new ford genuine parts, e.g. load sensors, and I have had the car on its side to have the whole underneath made solid and mint.
Tax 31/10/09. ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK.

Last thing, I really want this car to go to a good home, as I have looked after it extensively and don’t want it to be ruined by some chives buying it, who will probably put lexus lights and chrome spinners on it!

I just noticed in your photos that you'd taken out the mud guards. Did you notice the engine bay getting much dirtier or was it ok. cool :Q

Hope you don't mind me asking mate but what colour are your wheels (colour code?) as they are exactly the colour I want mine but don't know what the colour is.

Good luck with the sale :aviator:

The mud guard is just out on the side you can see, and no, the engine bay has not been getting dirty as a result of this at all tbh

The wheels, when they were refurbed and sprayed, i just asked for 'wet look anthracite', and i can't imagine owning another car without getting the wheels sprayed in this!

i, like you would also be fussy to who id sell to, making sure it wont get ruined.
id even sell it cheaper to a good polite buyer!
dont let it go too cheap
