Re: project:UFO
FRSJON :jonyb4 :aint you scared of someone nicking your bumper?
yet again doing it that way aint really for daily use, and to be parked in a garage over night
doubt it will see the road.but if it did it wouldnt be left anywhereplus the bumper would be useless as it has no fixings
id love an XR2i project, it be perfect as i couldnt afford the insurance of one so it can be just a track car

Re: project:UFO
im thinking of it for the xr mate, if i can fit in just below the front lip on the front panel it may fit on the outside, giving more room on the inside, which i may need if i go ahead and fit aircon to the xr2

Re: project:UFO
i had a few hours spare this afternoon so got down to the car and fitted some parts
first up the bailey header tank (painted ash black)

also the quickshift

and last off this (only a sneaky pic for now
)

also decided it was time to get the car out and get the engine in front of it ready to fit in a week or so

Re: project:UFO
Jon - I need some help....
Your front wings, how do they ajoin to the front panel just under the headlights?
I know they willprob use the original bolts at back of wing (by doors) and then bolted along the top.
Not sure how secured if at all to the front?
