cheers ash,car runs well but alternator isnt doing anything was watching the voltage on the laptop go down to about 10v and it wasnt too happy running at that sorted throttle cable now so in theory it could be driven ( no brakes connected though bar hand brake).. tidying all the wires in the car at mo them a few jobs to complete + the brake lines then it 'should' be ready . i have a few things that need repainting which is a pain as its hasnt even been used yet

as the cars been running for a while now ive dropped the oil out and taken the sump off for a health check and all's still good

whilst the sumps off it would be rude not to fit a different one i have







its a race line big wing/baffled sump with a lower profile than a standard one and has dash fittings for a oil return and breather return..more braided hose and aeroquip fittings needed now though

That is a lovely bit of kit. Do you have the adapter to link the oil pump inlet to the Raceline pickup? Is there some kind of strainer gauze that bolts in the sump?

as far as im aware the sump bolts straight up to the oil pump? . there is another baffle plate that bolts on the ridge above the pick up pipe. there a gauze filter in the sump where the pick up pipe would meet the pump
