FRSJON :well the rac were adiment the fuel pump in the engine bay had died but its been sorted and and was the fuel cut off switch.it didnt cut out it burnt out apparently........ and apparently just been told they changed the in-tank pump as well
£400
Ahh OK, maybe you should look at using the existing feed to run the lift pump alone and act as a trigger for a suitable relay to feed the engine bay pump. It sounds like two pumps are drawing too much for the switch.

Re: project:UFO
here's a couple of pics of the emerald ecu and engine loom .. now the loom was originally made for a n/a zetec and is missing the following.. map sensor,iscv.. now im crap with wiring but surely a n/a zetec has both of these?

at the beginning of the year i sent this back to emerald to to have adjustments but it was returned as they dont do looms
now i must add this lot hasnt been fitted to a car before but wasnt purchased new,so who made the loom is unclear.. this is pretty much the only stumbling block i have with the car and need to get it sorted sooner rather than later..any advise/comments greatly accepted
to add i do now have a diagram from emerald on which pins the wires should go to so if anyone wants the job or can recomend anyone let me know

jay- not going to bother mate

the tow strap may not be staying as a miss calculation buy me means you have to take it off to get the bumper off so a threaded tow eye maybe used.but if it stays the washer will be changed
