Project Black ...

Postby cheby on Sun Dec 04, 2005 9:30 pm

Hey all,

After 3 years of owning this car I am thinking about selling my car and moving onto an RS, either an Escort or a Fiesta. As some of you know this car has been looked after very well.

General ...

Ford Fiesta Finesse 1995 1.3 (M) Ash Black Hatchback

- Tax till June 06
- MOT till December 06
- 69,000 miles
- Electric windows/sunroof
- Fully Colour Coded Exterior
- Full Service History
- Very Good Bodywork
- 2nd Owner

Modifications ...

- 15" Escort GTi Wheels - Toyo Proxes T1-S Tyres 195/45/15
- Spax Lowering Spring - 40mm
- RST Front & Back bumpers
- RST Bonnet
- 4" Powerflow Catback Exhaust (12 Months)
- K&N Airfilter
- Si Front & Back Seats (Mint)

Nothing too extreme, but I think it one of the better examples around. Please note I am only posting up to get an idea of how much I would get for my car. It is NOT FOR SALE yet ...

Just updated the post. It is a 1.3. I would do that but I take it you mean get a black RS and change them over with no colour change. The colour is a different black to the RS.

That is alot for what you have..

Best way to get that kinda money is stick it to standard, sell all the modded parts and you will get that if not more for it
Car is back...

Yeah I know it is a little bit on the steap side and I didn't really expect anyone on here not to question the price for being on the high side. Stuck it up for sale before and it had interest at that price. Thats only reason behind the price, I know if it was to be sold to an enthusiast it would go much lower. End the day why except less when you can get more.

no ones actually put £1600 in ur hand yet mate
Time will tell, personally I think u could ask £1000 just because its so clean, but obviously u would end up taking offers on that.
I could put my pug 206 up for £9k and still get interest, doesnt mean someone is going to put 9k in my hand does it :D

I think it looks well tidy mate, shame you didn't stick an RS kiy on iy and colourcode the wing mirrors when you did the bumpers, looks a little narrow to me as it is.

My advice would be not to turn down anything over a grand, she's clean and will appeal to the younger peeps who can't afford the bigger lumps, but this market usually has limited funds, £1600 is very optimistic.

Good luck and i hope it goes for you mate.
