From what I can see, all the mounting points are still there and they look in great condition. I can get some close up pictures if you want? I'm after £35 delivered for them.

I thought with the damage they may be £50 or less, was just going to be a random purchase but I have more important things that need to be bought with that money :) Sure it'll all sell in due course!

Yo,

So you are now putting the 2.0 in an Escort. :( Fool! :P

How much would you let me have the Mk4 Rear Wiper and Uprated Master Cylinder for? I can collect... I think!

Don't happen to know a place I can get a RS2k handbrake cable from round here do you? :oooh:

Hi mate, yes I am putting it into a mark 6 escort instead. Had enough of looking for a tidy si plus I've had mine for 2 and a half years now so a change will be nice.

I paid £65 for the master cylinder and it's just sat in my room since it was delivered from xrsi. So you could have the cylinder and wiper for £70 if you want.

How about a nice de-cat, rs bonnet and opening rears while your at it

And yes you could go to Halfords on the Llansamlet industrial estate or pop into evans halshaw ford as I'm sure they could get you one.

 I do want an RS bonnet but can't afford it right now. :bonkers:

Thanks both of you for the tip bout the handbrake cable, much appreciated. :)

The master cylinder is a little steeper than I imagined! May go for some braided hoses first then move on to one them later... unless it will have huge effects with a RS2k setup on?

I think the main noticable difference is if you have a rear disc set up. Not sure on the difference with just front discs though, but it will make the pedal feel nicer.

Yeah I'm having front and rears on in April. Just wondering whether it's needed to get the most out of the conversion. :)

I think it is needed to make the most of the conversion. As a few people have said the pedal is non existant when they have fitted the rear discs. That's why I bought it.

I have done the RS2k front and focus rear conversions on my Si and I still use the original master cylinder/servo, they still have massive stopping power, just slightly lower down the pedal.

But you may have a different master cylinder/servo? Or would they be the same as a 1.6 Si's?
