UPDATE:

So on Thursday i picked up my Engine, Turbo, morettes, seats an harnesses from Steve (rs220bhp).

Since starting this rebuild i set myself a tight deadline which is combe! so This weekend i had the pleasure of FRSJON again to help with the crazy rush

Today's jobs planed
- strip engine to make sure all is ok.
- rebuild engine with new bits an bobs
- plumb engine in an see how far we get.


lend the girlfriend my wheels for a week an this happens on snow day!

I've run in to a brick wall though went to turn it over so plugged the battery on, alarm went of, went to disarm with the fob an nothing!!! Tried to input the valet code still nothing so it's frustrating the hell out of me.
Any ideas?

Do it!! You will love the aggression but prepare to get gearbox changing as much as your own boxers

it ran for a while after by passing the alarm to get the ignition on and jumping it off the starter/alternator,it ran well but the alarm is turning into a nightmare to sort out .

b5 cts stage 2 mate but with the power im looking for it will piss its pants lol
as jon said steve we got it turned over after bypassing the bloody alarm but when it did fire i was shocked at how well it started lol. just need to sort this alarm out!!

What's up with the alarm?

It won't disarm with the key fobs or when I try to enter the valet code! But it's a new alarm not even a year old

a mate fitted it but it was done correctly an was working ever since i took it of the road last year??

I had a immobiliser that worked fine but would not turn off at all a year later when the car was done, had to replace it with a new one in end.
Never did find out why it went faulty, hopefully you sort yours mate

i ripped one out of mine and got a new one off ebay for under 80 quid new works spot on had it fitted in november its a falcon evo predator if you rip it out there a decent alarm, the guy i got to fit mine said its basically a rebranded older clifford with a pager and intelli start

I got my mate coming over Monday who is the local clifford dealer/installer so hopefully he can shine some light on it!
The prob is its been working on the car for about 3/4 months from new! So all though its been in the car for over a year it's only been usable for the 3/4 months an all that's changed is a relocation that's it.

so this is how i left it tonight still no further forward, having my mate who is the local clifford dealer/installer coming out monday but ive not got a good feeling about it!

that is what you call an alarm that is thrown in over 2 nights in the rain lol. i new it was stuffed in but didn't no the extent of it!!
plan of action is this, if my mate can get it working to mo then happy days an i will rip all the wiring out an put it all back neat an tidy. if he cant i am still gonna be ripping it all out an putting it all back neat an tidy lol. worse comes to worse i will have to send the box to get re flashed at Clifford.
As jon knows i hate untidy wires
