£800!!?!?!?!?!? :aaah:

Take your car and leave them in a blaze of tyre smoke and £800 still in your pocket. For a start a new roof shouldn't cost £800, no way. I won't allow it! Secondly, surely it doesn't need one? Give me the keys, a weekend and a lump hammer and i'll sort those dents out! :aviator:

I'm sure you can find someone who'll do a roof cheaper, or get those dents out for a lot less than £800! Keep looking Lou! :)

£800 :aaah:  maybe just find someone that can pull the dents out for now? It won't be perfect but will look better and only be about £40 I'd guess?

It's like the huge quote I had for repairing mine, have uploaded an image now for all to see. Two scratches and a new door.. was quote £350 including the rusty hole in the boot, not too happy, but the bodyshop is the one that did the front end, and they are good.

Just got an image of the door, but you get the idea

:x why do people bother doing things like this. My sis's RS1800 had someone/people run over the roof and bonnet - no dents though(the clio is french  ) but a lots of deep scratched all over, they seemed to have grinded there feet on it for the full scratch effect. she can't afford to get the roof and bonnet resprayed so its had to stay scratched. :(
