Just thought i would let people know lots and lots of new mot rules came into force today, just had the new notice, including ESP is now testable, airbags are now tested, and seat belt pretensioners are now tested(ie if they are fitted from factory and they have been ditched its a fail), electrical wiring, and urm there are lots more! cant remember them all! so before you get your car tested have a gander over the new rules!

or not! its under annex a so we still cannot fail on the items...... only advise

wont be long till they come in though, they normally let us advise for 2-3 months to get used to the new procedures, but it will come in as fails soon!

Lol I saw this and thought that wasn't in the special notice I read !!!!

I spoke to our area vosa guy and they don't even know when they are coming in yet !!!!

Tbh it's bloody ridiculous, they should have not said anything until they knew they were coming in.....

Well I have booked my seminar in march next year... we might hear about them then lol

lol never been on the seminars, sounds boring to me! had my 4 year refresher earlier this year so i shouldnt get pestered for a while

Lol they are boring but you pick up on some information that is useful... And the food they put on is pretty good
