Re: New fiesta resto project
Ta, its a pain in the arse because i did all this on the old one but hey ho. I dont want it to look anything like the old one because that pretty much how he made his look (was grey but he sprayed/brush painted a new shell black with my bits
) I dont want to be assosiated with him becauase hes well know as a jockstap. But there will be a bit of g244ohg showing through
Was cheap because it wouldnt run and i was cheeky
my last one only cost £50. Will be solid after ive finished.....its just to dam cold with no heater in the garage.

Re: New fiesta resto project
I got bored with the bodywork and started on the hubs, im considering scrapping it and bying a mint frst shell, i had one i was all set to buy but he sold it before i got a chance to pick it up. But now i cant find a mint one anywhere, so i might start on the otherside now then
Anyways heres a few pics of the hub ive made so far, there modifed mk3.5 hubs.

studs welded up first,

machined a ring for the outside, as the evo stud pattern means the studs land right on the edge,

all machined down

Then as the spigot on a evo is 67.1 and the fiesta is about 63 (cant remember exactly) so machined a spacer, welded it on and machined flat

The holes are all drilled and the studs fitted now (i am going to buy a new ones though) and they fit a treat
just got to make the other one and decide on what rear brakes/hubs im going to use
