long story short, was doing stupid hours on security, busses never on time so got miself a skate board for 15 quid,, broke it in 2 weeks so baught another, n got this,

an extreme pro board, with abec 9s and pro alloy trucks,,

i got some stickers with it n so thought ied sticker bomb it,,

then got board so removed the stickers,,
Image

literaly sprayed the tail black, which,, suprisingly removed the sticker with ease leaving fresh maplewood,, so i spent an hour cutting a "curly" out as thats my nick name lol,, even though im bubi on here ( if admin could change to curly wud be good :P)

im not like a skate boi,, allthough everyone thinks i am,, it took me a while of getting used to balance n transfaring n ollieing,, still trying to master ollieing,,

pop shovets one ive learnt so far lol, allthough my ankles do get bruised :) and i only come off it when im being a dick going down a hill to fast on concrete lol,, 97dru wheels dont mix well on concrete as i keep finding out,, but slidding while slippy is good fun :)

im actually nursing a trapped nerve i did yesterday,, coming down a steap hill car was coming up so jumped off, both feet went,, so ended up on my belly sliding down rtying to grab my board behind me to get back on it lol,,

but the skateboard was just asking for my customising :P just waiting on my red and white grip tape now, then ill be sorted :)

my first board was a no fear shedevil :) but i got dirty looks for that board, so the banks rockinghorse was my next beast :) abec 9s though are mint,, dont think i can get any fast bearings than them?

also, howw do u strip the bearings down fully?

as oiling them ive used either castrol gtx manictec,, or cooking oil,,, cleaning ive removed them, soaked them in wd, and spun them dry,, to be re oiled,

Mate, you can change your own username, don't need the admin to do it for ya :)

Under the fiestaturbo.com logo at the top left, on the light blue bit you'll see a link saying "User Control Panel".

Click that, then click the "Profile" tab and finally click the link for "Edit account settings" on the left. You can change your username there.

Also, if you don't fancy painting, you could pm nomad about having vinyls cut to go on the board. If you change your mind you can just peel them off then.

You can lacquer the vinyl after the event too, makes it harder wearing. :)
