ok heres how the car started out........................

then after havong problems i decided to strip the car and seriously modify it.....

ok peeps just another quick view at my rs in the body shop bein prepared for my new engine.... let me know what ya think....

ok guys and gals big week for my rs this week gettin the shell nearly finished a few pics of wot we managed to do today....

this is just the 1 days work unfortunatly i'm workin the rest of the week so my mate will be doing loads over the next few days!!! i will be goin bak on sunday to help do more by then the car will be so different and look amazing theres not much left for us to do but just make sure everything is done good and properly anyones opionion welcome cheers ad

lookin good mate, it seems to take ages but once all the painstaking smoothing is done it starts to come together pretty fast!!! one question though... how did you do the vents in the wing?

zetec-s ones mate when i get hold of a local lad who has some who said i can have them 2 weeks ago but haven't seen for weeks!!!! dont know him well mate of a mate but he owns a shed of a mk4 half wrote off said he was buyin a kit and i can have them, they were vertually hangin off anyway so go help myself soon if he dnt come to me :wink:

well as for bumpers mate there quite common but will look good will post pics when everything is lined up and modified for the arch's so wait till then, and there is more one off stuff to come and something body wise that noone to my knowledge has done??... :wink:

well maybe by sunday it might be somewhere near with the bumpers on too??? depends how my mate gets on...he wont start another bit of the car till the one he's doin is perfect so thats good its just time takin doin things properly... :wink:

bit of an update!!!! mate has done all 4 arch's now and should have been in primer tonight!!! he's crackin on with other 1 off's to suit [ERRR] i'm gonna be doin/running and then sortin the bumpers and stuff out can't wait to see it!!! just a shame i live 30 miles away so i can't pop in and take a few piccy's!!! :rolleyes:

its not about that mate i cud drive over in the golf but... i work 13hrs a day!!! so buy then its late and my mate wud be in bed!!! so i cannot get the pics till sunday :rolleyes:

just get a daily call on wot he's done and, askin wot i think of ideas and suggest stuff to each other!! trust me it'll be more impressive every week now!!

cheers matey yes the suspension will be bein replaced :wink:

and i need the alloy tank as the old one has been removed due to my personal preference..... will have loads more pics to come the car will get better each week!!!

i chose to do the underside in a straight blue as doin it the colour the car will be would cost loads for the paint to do the whole car!!! so a happy medium was to do the underneath like that and then to paint everything else in my colour i picked :wink:

i have the rest of the stuff to go on its all in primer just waiting on the side skirts as still haven't got hold of the loser who said '' u can have them ''

but yer will all be reveiled :wink:

I really really like those disks, very nice! The arches have definitely been worth the wait. Very OE looking and will suit the bits that are to come
