This is all very exciting and interesting stuff. Me and a mate started doing a rear wheel drive mk3 escort estate (dont ask!!!) using sierra rear running gear! Sadly I had no time or space to finish it what with the mk2 escort project on the go aswell! Gives me the get up and go to do another one now seeing all this!

If you need a rear R32 roll bar or Neuspeed, I now have them in stock.
Or any other TT bits you may need http://www.thettshop.com
If you do deceide to use the haldex, we keep the uprated one too.

Bear with me, I've got quite a few photo's to sift through and upload

I want to tilt the engine as far back as possible to lower the centre of gravity, and to some extent aid weight distribution. To do this I needed some kind of adapter between engine and gearbox. Two options here: weld Ford gearbox bellhousing on to gearbox, or make an adapter. I selected the latter for ease of part replacement should a gearbox let go.
After measuring the engine bay to determine clearance, then playing around with the engine/box to determine how far the engine can be turned without fouling the drive shafts, I used a combination of the gearbox shim/gasket for a TT and the Focus equivalent, both of which I traced on to tracing paper. Careful measuring to find the exact centre meant I could lay them on top of each other, roate the correct number of degrees and then take a further tracing of the resultant shape:
Then the laborious task of measuring all of the points:
Transfer to cad:
Put on CD and take to one of my Dads freinds to get laser cut. Voila:
10mm thick and exact holes for the Ford and TT bellhousing pattern. 1 hole is shared and can be simply bolted straight through from 'box to engine.

I'm shure this guy Excursion is just a software from the net that generates the pictures shown in this thread. I say it's an urban myth
Mark you are insane, it looks like it will be an awesome car.

Sorry boys, I've not touched it since getting the engine etc test fitted. Can't be rodded at the moment, got a fun main car now so it's taken the edge off the Fiesta a bit.
It will get finished though asap, I'm not one to abandon something I start

E46 M3. It's got every option (19's, TV, widescreen nav, bluetooth etc)...so it's a big distraction. It starts, goes and stops with no issues. Ideal

Yeah totally, they look worse than MV2's! Didn't want one without all the stuff either as they're too close to a standard sport otherwise.
