Mums new car...

Basically my mum has been studying to become a teacher at Uni and wants to go into teaching at a primary school and with that... decided she needed a car that is teacher like.... so what better than a 1995 Saab 900S in black :)

It's a 2.3L, with 17inch Saab alloys with lower profile tyres

Comes with brand new MOT - till jan 31st 2010
Brand new 6 months tax
Stamped book by Saab up to 80k - now dones 110k
Full electrics
JVC autohide cd player
Half a tank of petrol
Getting it cleaned inside and out before collection
And the current owner is a Police Man :lol:

Parents just need to get to Newcastle now and then enjoy a nice 4hr drive back

All for under £800 ;)

Plan was to go by train but dads mate has now decided he will come with us and drive my dads car back, should be a nice road trip!

be careful of the gearbox, the auto boxes on them have a tendency to evaporate :aaah:

but the 2.3 can be tuned to over 300 bhp with just a some minor tuning :D

Any idea how much BHP it gives out as standard?

the power all depends on the model, as you get lots of different varitaions, from LPT to HPT ( low prseeure turbo and high pressure turbo)
the LPT i believe is 150 bhp osh, the HPT is 180-200 bhp i think.

Search for a program called T5 Suite, you can remap your own ecus with that and some technical know how :wink:
