More than likely the shift being rubbish! Still we'll see....has just popped out of third into neutral a few times. More than likely the shift but you never know! One of these little glitches!

Poo old wobbly linkage do you mean? You probably just didn't align the sleeve quite right or something simple like that...I was surprised at the whine from my box, like a quiet straight-cut box. Spose it might've been because of the lumps of steel jumbling around in the diff

Ahhh right - I'm sure if I spoke to Bernie at some stage I could have mine upgraded, it's absolutely spot on for what I need at the moment though
Top gear ratio sounds very interesting - 180!
Have to agree with Dave about the traction - the only time I get wheelspin is if I'm overcooking it when angry launching from junctions, I usually realise how quick I'm going then slow down before I lose my licence
Cheers,
Andy

Mr muz - I've always wanted a 200bhp Fiesta. I originally planned to buy an engine off Ian Howell (Fiesta Frenzy) to go in the FRST shell I nearly bought. We spoke of the FRST CVH, 1.8 ZVH and a 1.8 ZT. I never even spoke to him about 2.0/2.1 ZT's as I didn't see the necessity for what I was after. I still think 200bhp is a very healthy amount of power in a little FWD car like the Mk3 Fiesta, 250bhp being on the outer limits of useful power. The 1.8ZT was a good, relatively cheap option with marginally better fuel economy. If I want more power I can always slap a 2.0 bottom end underneath my current setup.
I'm aiming to run the car at 1 bar maximum boost, possibly 16psi or so, and I'm expecting to hit about 210bhp, give or take 10bhp. Fuel economy? Ummm average 15-20mpg I guess

Just ordered a CTS Stage 1 box, with the view to upgrading to the Quaife diff at a later date. I now need an ERST box with a functional LSD to use as an exchange. Without an exchange box I have to pay 100 quid extra
edit: LSD box no longer required, already found one!
Mine is too knackered to use even in exchange

Shurrup Dave
I'll more than likely stick one in early next year. You know how much nicer it is to spend 600 quid now....then 400 quid later rather than a grand all at once!
