UPDATE 4/6/09
I haven’t updated in a couple of months so here is what I have been up to.
I wired in the omex and sorted out all the little things in the engine bay like the breather system, also got a set of water and boost hoses for Paul at roose motorsport, a very helpful man indeed.


Then I fitted the intercooler and rad, ready for it to be fired up



Fired it up and took it to optimal running temp (between the O and R) everything was fine and it was ready for mapping

I notice the manifold getting quite hot at idle.heres the video


After that I took it up to TOTD for the mapping .Where a tracking issue stopped it from being mapped on the day, as the car was all over the place on the rollers


so Chris put a quick map on it ,so I could get it down the road to kwik fit .I got it tracked with some problems but it was too late to map it that day .

So Chris kindly let me leave it at his place until the next mapping day (or 'till he can squeeze me in)

He also told me to wrap my ex manifold and told me a couple of horror stories of manifold catching a-light on the dyno

So I when up there the next day to wrap it up.



All I’m waiting for now is a mapping slot hopefully it will be soon.

i dont know why but the tracking just slipped my mind 'till i saw it moving on the dyno!

its just one of those things you dont think about.

running in the engine now .got to do 500 miles

Gearbox sounds the nuts in the video mate. what did you have to do to the escort mk5 servo to get it to fit???

Have you painted the avo springs green or are they higher poundage ones if so what poundage??

not at the moment mate, the car in pieces!

the car was only mapped to 8 psi to run the engine in.if i was to guess i would say 180 bhp and 200 torque at 8 psi

the escort mk5 servo was done by someone on here but i cant remember who all that was done was the rod was shorted and weld back and the fiesta bracket was put on. the copper pipes have to be changed or bent to fit
i got the springs powercoaded to match the trim.u like?

Ram the noise was amazing mate i drove it with a smile for ear to ear mate!

i got mine off this site mate ,but i have sold it now as im going for a st170 set up as the gear ratios were way too close!.
