Medway RS Centre Closing
Hi guys just a quick note to announce the closure of Medway RS Centre.
The reasons behind this are due to ill health and the fact restoring and keeping stock of these old Fords is not getting any easier! the expense and the time scales are way above my head these days so as of the 1st November the company will no longer be trading.
Now most of you know I have Glen B's car "the gov" This car will be finished, I will have more time to devote to it now plus I am a man of my word yes it is taking to long and theres probably no money in it whatsoever but I took the job on and promised Glen it will be done properly so this still stands.
Parts and stock will be sold off, hopefully in job lots, some equipment has already gone and theres some more tools etc to come, plus magazines, stickers and the parts I find when clearing it all, now there isn't a lot because I have purposely not chased parts nor bought any breakers recently.
Some of you already know about the new venture, it really is taking off now and is so much more laid back and easier to deal with than the last 2 years or the last few months trying to juggle the two.
I will be staying where I am for the time being and have adapted part of the workshop for the new venture, the remaining half of the workshop will be General car repairs and servicing run by a good friend of mine, so if you need mechanical work done to a high standard bare us in mind, but primarily this won't be my forte any more apart from doing "the gov" I will be running Demon Dipping UK.
I still own a mk3 so would very much still like to be part of the site, sponsor the calendar and help out with advice where I can, also attend shows and hopefully next year the weekenders etc
None of you have got rid of me that easy!
This has not been an easy decision for me and it's quite sad to think it's over but at the same time it's like a huge weight has been lifted off of me and as a result the health is improving day by day.
Lastly I would like to thank each and every one of of you for your support and friendships over the last 7 years wether it be through work I have done for you or your attendance at shows, the parts you have purchased or the tea you have drank and my cakes you have eaten it really means a lot.
Love you all
Peace out.
