M4X WW - ZT Project - For Sale / Breaking (soon!)
Re: M4X WW - My Zetec Turbo Project
well if your changing the belt it wont have the marks on and transfering it over is dodgy...... lol thats for if your putting it back after a hg change or water pump ect even then its easy enough to time up the way i said

Awesome project,
The guys at the bodyshop said its one of the cleanest mk3.5 Fiestas they had seen
It looked stunning when they had worked their magic on it.
Any pictures of the engine in then ??

Just got out of the bath after a day on this, well impressed with how clean it is, will be one of the best fiestas out there when its done, with Maxs eye for the details. Nice, clean and fast. Ideal.
Shaun, he got pics, so sure they will go up when he can be arsed

Re: M4X WW - My Zetec Turbo Project
Couple of pics below of Mondays work..
Head off..

Empty bay..

Engine came out the bottom - complete with box and shafts to be binned..

PAS rack in.. (needs diferent bolts and a couple of braces I think
_

Dave liking the slam panel protection..

Engine fitted with CTS Stg 2+ box and mounts, Turbo soon came off to get it in (well it was half in then we took it off)

Engine in, Excuse the budget cam cover. Some pikey stole mine months ago and I've not had it back yet..

Head off..

It was already chipped and when it was the only thing stopping the engine sliding in I took a executive decision to smash the crap out of it with a hammer.

Yea, The camera is crap though and makes the new paint look orange. I couldn't be arsed to have the bay painted and then us scratch it. Also thought the factory finish would be tougher and I kinda like the factory feel. In the flesh I like the finish, doesnt look out of place or anything and the battery tray will be mostly covered.
As already said, The same pikey who took my cam cover also smashed up my coilpack
Jon, I think a mate has one - Cheers though!

Max M4X WW :hb69 :Looks good Max, you got the alloys and suspension etc yet?
I got some Pro Race 1.2's off a mate cheap, Not sure what they will look like yet but they are being done in satin black and are light so they will do for now.
I have some Fiesta ST brakes to go on, Again - will do for now and see how I get on. Not chosen suspension yet.
Jon, Getting the mechanicals done is my main prioirty. Not really thought about the looks yet. Its still on 13" steels at the moment
little pic of black pro race 1.2s on a red fezz for you.
