Well some pics of car and some info on whats been happening ..

Basically the car is currently upto 297bhp i hate odd numbers so 300 it is lol lol.
The inlet had an issue of leaking at air and whistling like a kettle so this has to be sorted midweek.
I took the day off to get my new wheels and also to take the inlet apart to get welded.
Within an hour it was off stripped, welded, re-assembled and then back on the car.
Most of the car has been specced so that if it need to come off its easy to do so.

Then as we stand now its ready to go back on dyno Monday now not today..
Mapping to around 20psi which we estimate to be 330hp.
Then i take it away for some mot and tax whooo cant wait lol

Then finally i can drive it.... Saturday week its at Combe where i intend to drive it to and do a session to check all is ok with the geometry and basically get used to it all befoe the final mapping session.


Probably in 4 weeks it will be back to be mapped further on 2 bar pressure /2.5 which will see the figure of 450 or there abouts. The car will run a two stage map switch which will be set at 330 and 450 so flick the switch to determine which you want...

It will now mate, you see i had to fit a larger throttle body so needed to drill and tap new holes.. One of which although i didnt notice was around 2mm i guess from the outside of the chamber.. so 17psi and it popped the hole.
So rewelded now and all is sorted.... DO NOT ASK ME TO DRILL THINGS..

Wheels yes i got some new compomotive cxt's in Black.

Cheers fella, No i dont work for FastFord magazine, i just write each month an update on the build of the car for them, which they have kindly placed in the staff/project cars section.
Now the car is nearing completion the monthly write up will include set up details/ preperations /thrashes, timing, and track days in 09.

This winter will be save save save for next years show season

Oooh been a while indeed, well the car is operational now and I have been using it too.
A few midnight blasts around my way and aslo a few outings to Castle Combe so far.


Will be featured very soon too in FastFord

As for winter plans, the cars of the road for a Winter break, to have the full boost map set up and also to upgrade the front brakes to something a little more powerful.
Still in the early stages of this but a custom set of brakes is being looked into.

Once the engine is fully mapped il post some power graphs up and final power figures, this engine loves to rev though and the torque figures are held high across the rev range

Then its just a few things like tyres spare wheels and a few more carbon parts to add to the car.
All ready for 2009 then!

Front do sit further in on the pic to currently due to running longer studs and spacers, but new brakes are being made to widen the front track

Its a..... It’s a Revolution mate MO’S are like Opal Fruits and Marathon bars!

Ive grown to love these wheels now and when you see them you hopefully will drop to your knees
