Does the ERST hav an LSD to help the wheels from spinning when the larger turbo kicks in?

Im worried about grip if i put 15s on my T3 converted FRST.
Does the LSD g/box work as assistance to stop wheel spinning due to the kick when the T3 comes in or just of the line?

Any1 hav experiance with driving a T3 on 15s compared to 16s, etc?

I think the Fiesta doesn't have a LSD because it has non equal drive shaft lengths so creates loads of torque steer, anyone thats put a LSD in Fiesta would know what thats like! This can be sorted with either a quaife ATB diff with/or Fiesta Frenzy adjustable lower arms. Mine doesn't suffer torque steer much at all now and I run 15's
If anything the T3 will improve traction as the car will be rolling by the time the boost kicks in, I wouldn't worry.
If you thinking of an LSD I think you should also get the adjustable lower arms the difference is truly amazing!

Having had my car and without LSD, I can honestly say the only time it seems to make a difference is when the road gets twisty. 50mph in 2nd, put boot down in a bend and you get this weird sensation that the cars about to understeer then it turns to oversteer. It used to just understeer like most any other fwd car before the 'box change.

i use a LSD gox in mine with 15's but although i still use a T2 @ only a mear 9 psi (not chipped hence) i dont suffer from torque steer at all (some may say due to lack of power etc LOL) but i get much more traction off the line with it than i did with the standard box. i also at present use standard lower arms as a reference point. certainly not the best combo but works good for me for the use i need the car for

i am fitting an LSD box and i've got some of the Fiesta Frenzy Lower arms to fit too. where should i go to get them set up and what camber settings are you using. i am running 15'' wheels too.

Andy, i think places like ATS straighten ur camber if it is adjustable and settings depend on how low ur vechile is. The computer should set them up straight.

the escort also hasd un-equal length driveshafts.

The benifit of the LSD like already stated is pulling away quickly and when going round tight corners with the foor to the floor, you know when the inside wheels tends to just spin away quite happily.

Adj lower arms are from Ian Howell fiesta frenzy/ area six, (not Ian Howells of Racetek)
There are loads of posts on here about them, but dont worry i'll find the price and number for you!

I havn't that sorta money for wishbones at the mo, but something for the future.

Im hoping that 15inch alloys with 195/45 tyres and no spacers will reduce the problem a LOT. Thanx for the help but the expense is too much at the minute.
