ka insurance
does anyone know what its like to insure a ka , are they a low group ? , im thinking that they are alot cheaper to insure than a mk3 fiesta so thinking of getting one to insure when my bike insurance runs out as i would of had my licence over a year and a years ncd . hopefully by then insurance will drop , but i aint holding my breath .. obviously i would prefer another fiesta but there daft to insure for some reason
cheers , jake

My misses has one. It is a special edition Sublime with two tone leather,6 disc radio alloys etc with 1.25 lump in it. When she first starting driving nearly 6 years ago it was around 1200 iirc and now its 475 or there abouts. Don't know if this info is any good to you as she is obviously a woman but should give you a rough idea. It will be for sale in August if you might be interested mate its only got 40k on it

Re: ka insurance
I don't get that ad jake or do I. The fella insures a car for you and your named driver is this correct
What happens if the chap gets you insurance takes your money and then cancels ther policy.
Personally I think that ad is a no no and is fraudulent mate.
Back to ka's they all seem to rust at the petrol cap surround and the rear wiper though but you can pick them up quite cheap. Just stupid little jobs like alternator belt etc are a nightmare and don't get me going about the headlight bulb

Re: ka insurance
My misses one is well worth a look mate if your interested. She has had it since it was 6 months old. Other than bubbling aroung the petrol cap and rear wiper its immaculate. There was only 500 made and the interior is quite impressive have even thought about banging it in my rs can get you some pics if you like. I will be wanting about a grand for it mate. Its 05 plate, panther black metalic with grey and light grey leather with blue piping, 6 disc in dash radio, elec windows, air con, power steering, heated front screen and wing mirrors which are also electric, alloys full service history and has got 7 months mot on it and it required nothing on the last one. The only thing that will need changing are the brake discs as they have been an advisory for the last 3 years now but as she drives so slow they very rarely get used
