Re: Fuel pump dilemma
As a question will fitting an uprated fuel pump to a rs turbo engine on165 chip make any difference to the tuning of it?
Basically I have a uprated full pump for my new engine ~300bhp and was thinking if fitting the pump before hand as its one less thing to do at the time and the fuel tank isn't a 5 minute job lol
If I was to fit this pump to my car running its current engine will it still run ok etc? I know the FPR controls the pressure but can't think if its just pressure that would control the flow like a high flow pump at. 3 bar will move more fuel than a low flow pump at 3 bar? Or am I being a numpty lol
Thanks
Russ
