Jay, I see your point totally. Well how are these pictures going to be actually taken? Will everyone meet or will everyone be responsable for submitting their own photos.

If this was the case then maybe have a competition. Everone submits a photo of their car and the top 12 (or more) will all be in the calender? That means everyone can enter and the best pictures get voted for on here.

Anyway I'm not too bothered because what ever happens the calender will have some good cars in it.

people will have to submit thyere own photo's mate, but i will stipulate a few things, i.e not on your drive way, not with other cars in the shot, like ya mates clapped out nova, get the missis out the passanger seat etc

really i would want to keep the final pic's off the forum, only for the fact then that people wouldnt of pre vied it ya know, and if the final pics are put up to be voted on, then some people could be wasting there time finding a good locations etc etc for nothing, im saying this i im expecting a fair few cars put forward, for all i know i might only get half a dozon

oh, and the main thing, if people pre view the calendar pics and have to vote on them, they could well vote for the best looking pic rather than the best looking cars or something, for example, they might like a given car but think the pic is crap so vote for something else, , so for now ill leave it as it is mate.

yes mate, the 12 runners up will be on a 13th page, the only way a 13th page wouldnt happen is if the printers wanted stupid extra money for another page, but i cant see it so as far as i go, a 13th page will be there

Just voted but didn’t like any of those headings, as the site is FIESTATURBO, i think that any Fiesta with a Turbo fitted factory or aftermarket should be included. Sorry to be against anyone without one. Otherwise we might as well be Fiesta club GB or something.

The turbo is FT's unique attraction. Even if you don’t have Turbo you come to this site because you are interested in Turbo’ed fiestas.

I quite agree with the turbo part, but don't use the FCGB in your squabble! The word Club has a capital C and we are not an or something! The FCGB is a membership based club with merchandise, club magazine, it owns/runs Fiesta In The Park, owns a car and is not just a forum that members pay to support.

I suggest you choose your words a little more carefully.

Set up two threads - One for the MK3 and MK3.5 photos and one for the any mark of fiesta photos.

The winner of the poll, (evidently going to be the 3's and 3.5's) get the main calendar, and whoever comes second in the poll (currently any mk of fiesta, or even any Ford), get to populate the "page 13". That way, no members will be "left out" and everyone on the site has a chance to get into the calendar, even if it is just on the 13th page.

yeah it is a bit of one aint it, it will prob upset a few people somewhere along the line which i cant do anything about all i can do it make it as fair as poss for everyone and go with the results, i just hope if someones car isnt picked/voted for that they dont boycot the calendar completely, becuase after all its done dor the site and everyone on it plus for chairty too.

and tbh, if this one is popula then i see no reason for a 2011 and one, which of corse gives people a chance again, but thats a long way off yet

As said before, I reckoned the 13th page should be for the runners up in the poll, but if we extended that to all entered cars, that would be better

I thought the calendar was supposed to represent the community and if you restrict it to 25% of the forum it isn't a community based thing, but if we all get a chance to be in it, its much better

I don't think so, I just mocked one up to see how it looks. Obviously its not polished yet, I only spent 10 mins on it, but you get my drift.

nice mockup Nick, looks good. I thought the smaller pics would look better on the calendar itself rather than the main pic, but that actually looks pretty good

I really like that idea, even though I dislike mk4> fiesta's I think excluding them is a bit harsh. I voted for all mk's. But that mock-up looks pretty damn good actually. Would be a better way of getting more members cars in the final print. Again a vote to what classes as a "main" car and "suitable" inset cars is definately a good idea. But using the mock-up as an example we need 1 "main" and 5 inset cars per month so we're going to need 72 cars for the calendar. Could we get than many put forward? seems like a large amount to me.

Not meaning to offend people by this... maybe use main pages for 2i's, RST's and have the other "sporty" models at side (ZS, XR2, ST etc...) and (the bit I don't want to offend with) have the 1.1's, LX, Pop's etc... on page 13?
