mike i`m not sure about the head yet as i`ve just found that i`ve cracked my block(oops!) if i buy a short engine i`ll need a head i`ll keep you posted cheers nigel

Nigel - I have the complete engine for sale its VGC - ask anyone on the board - most have heard it running - where are you based ? Mike.

I've got a spare CVH head in the garage, ditto a polished inlet manifold/throttle body if needed.
