Even so, its still a Vauxhall... No personality, just white-goods.

Electric/heated mirrors can go on a Fiesta, electric windows are available on a Fiesta, central locking is available on a Fiesta, you can't beat Si or Recaro seats, and the fiesta boot is actually pretty spacious.

You'll be back, I wouldn't even dream of getting rid of a Fiesta for a Vaux!

aww well said mate well said, ive never forgiven him for dumping the fez for a vauxhall, and he wonders hwy i give him so much s**t lol

theres nothing chacateristic abotu a vauxall, like you said, plus too many chives have them and have completely ruined theire reputation, you will NEVER see me own any one of them, none, i like none of them lol, could say the same about the french cars too, but id LOOVe a 205 gti :Q yum

also i liek thats your slamming it 60mm mate, nice and euro

Nick - Yeah your right, Vauxhalls are boring and chavey. But for some reason I actually like some of them... Espically the new Corsa VXR.

FiestaBen - Fook the Vauxhall, come back to the Fiesta... You'll never ever be happy with that Corsa as much as you were with a Fiesta.

Jonyb4 - Cheers mate, hopfully all should go well. Just gotta find some BBS' wheels now, wish me the best of luck!

Thanks all.

Its an Astra if I remember correctly - MK3? The one that was also available in GSI?

I must admit they are pretty bulletproof, but from experience they don't drive very nicely - and the interior is hideous! Sorry! But thats my thoughts. Electric sunroof is cool though.

Aye it's a mk3 I drive, 1400 engine which was a non interference engine, piece of p**s to work on! I agree they do have pretty dull interiors but for my 18th birthday I'm being bought GSI bumpers and spoiler for mine to smarten it up :Q for a first car, it's great! and it's recently done 230mile on £20 petrol too :)

Fiesta's are much better looking than the Astra Mk3. Don't worry, you'll come crawling back to the Fez, wether it be a 1.1 or a FRST!

I might be interested in a FRST one day but probably use it as a stripped out toy :Q as at the moment I'm wanting a 2.0 Astra GSi :)

Fair enough.

Payday is coming up soon, gunna spend abit on the car. Not to sure what though, I always get annoyed at things like this, I have the money but don't know where to start. My mate suggested that I should take the RS bumper to the bodyshop this month and have it smoothed and sprayed, we will see! :Q

I still dont think it looks like 60mm to be honest, i would say 35, mine sits that high on 35mm drop. Hmm.. Get the hacksaw out and cut the springs like a pikey!

he just said hat it scrapes speed bumps so its gona be lower than 35 mm. it look hider i think as it doesnt have an rs kit on like henry's rs1800 that was low. but the rs kit helps it to look even lower

Burman its probably because you only have springs that it scrapes, ive got coilovers lower than you and it doesnt scrape much only on some bumps. stiffeed mine up well loads as well and it not as springy as before has elimanted a lot of noises but is so hard  :D

Boo! Hiss!

If only cheap coilovers came along often for the MK5. Can't afford to get any new for the time being as I don't have £500 spare!! Having said that I finish paying the car-loan off at the end of september - should be able to save more then to get some sorted.

James - we'll see at Ford Fair, I suppose the photos don't do it justice especially when combined with the baloon tyres

EDIT:
Here's how mine sat while I was painting the wheels, and how its sat at the moment due to valve issues:

it is defo 60mm lower, weve compared it to another fiesta and its so much lower

exhaust scrapes on speedbumps, it once hit the chassis.

ill upload the pic but its uber low res

another thing is that its only on 13'' steelies so looking at the arch gap wont make it look as low as it is

All of you judge Fanny's height at Fordfair...

Bought a Black FRST bonnet from Jobo on here, picking it up this saturday. Another item for the Fiesta... Now I have several bits for the bodyshop;

- Fiesta RS ACC Front Bumper (Smoothed recess, cut fog holes, then sprayed)
- Standard Fiesta MK4 Rear Bumper (Smoothed swage line/toe eye cover then sprayed)
- Smooth Boot (Needs minor work, small dent and a good polish. Maybe smooth the spoiler in)
- The Black FRST Bonnet (Just sprayed!)

Arrrr I'm also gutted because I was gunna buy these today, but missed bidding!

BBS RS Alloy's, IN FORD FITMENT!
Image

They went for £600 in the end. Really gutted! I would'nt of cared if I was skint for the rest of the month, I mean just look at them, there gorgggggggggg! :o
