I think I'm gonna just buy an alternator and plug it in. Haha, motor parts direct!

just get yourself a multi meter run the engine and plonk it on the power output off the Alternator if its anything less than very high 12 or 13 volts its ya alternator knackered, if its fine at the alternator follow the wiring to the starter motor and do te same test again here and see if there is any difference , iv had it myself alternator and battery were fine but the wiring was buggered and not putting nothing nak to the battery , or if you can't be assed most motor factors will drop test te alternator for u for free just take it off an take it in there

it wont be the alternator per-say, if its over outputting, the regulator will be knackered, but you can repalce the whole alternator for the same money on our cars

As said I'll just buy a multi-metre to check, don't want to buy an alternator then find there's another problem...

The alternator is about two years old! It was a cheap one though.

Hi guys,

This is for sure now, Fanny must go. I've sold some parts already, but once the general parts have sold the shell and engine will still be available. I'd love for someone to take her away and look after her. I'll give her away for £100 for shell and mint 1.1 HCS engine. But if not I'll have to scrap her, and I don't really want her to suffer.

Here's the PARTS FOR SALE link...

Get buying!

PLEASE LOOK AT THE NEW PARTS ADDED TO THE LIST OF PARTS FOR SALE. SOME GREAT PARTS IN THE LIST, A MUST LOOK!

NEED THEM ALL GONE!

Fiesta Mk3 Parts:
- Gaz Coilovers (Fit Mk3.5 hubs.) £260 SOLD
- Recaro front seats. (Slight wear on drivers side bolster.) £100
- RS1800 rear bench. Mint! £60
- RS Accessory front bumper with smoothed recess in radiant red. £80
- FRST bonnet in radiant red. (Needs a good polish.) £30 PROV SOLD
- RS seats covers in grey. Mint! Hardly used... £15 SOLD
- K&N air filter for 1.1 HCS £20
- Fiesta Mk3 smooth boot in Radiant Red (Could do with mop polish/respray) £30
- Fiesta Mk3 1996 rear quarter panel, passenger side. Pattern part. £20
- RS1800 pop out windows with rubber seals. £30
- RS1800 door cards with all plastics, mint condition. £30
- RS accessory front fog lights for Fiesta Mk3, late spec kit. £40

I'm selling the shell as well if anyone wants to take her and look after her?

I'll sell the shell for £100 as it comes with a mint 1.1 HCS engine. Just hit 60k I think, but I'll double check. General rust you get on a Mk3, passenger side sill has been replaced but not painted. Shell was on radiant red but now it's in dog d**k red due to fade. But with a machine polish it'll come out.

Fiesta Mk5 Zetec-S Parts:
Gaz Coilovers (Eye fitment on rear, hardly used) £250 PROV

I think he bought the bonnet like that you weld a patch in to get that look
The wheels were 15x8 i think ford rs borbet wheels
And the car was on coilovers with the assister springs removed not ideal but much better than chopped springs
2.1 Went BANGGGGG now a Ghia 1800

You said it... Apart from the wheels being RS. They are rare Borbets imported from Germany. :)

I still have the Mk3, just sitting at my dads. Miss driving it! Still has a problem with the electrics that I can't solve.

Does anyone have standard suspension for my Fiesta? Anything will do, as it's just resting on ZS suspension at the moment and needs sorting as need to move it.
