Ford Fiesta Mk3.5 Project OEM+: End of an era...
Re: Ford Fiesta Mk3.5' Projekt OEM+: Full Service Finished!
Back to the alloy wheels convo, what about Comp TH Monos?

Only thing is they only come in 15x8J, won't be able to go that low, plus 8J may be to wide. Although the reason why the Allycats were to wide is because they are rwd offset lol
I'll never solve this problem with wheels, it's really fecking me off now. I really need dish!

Jony, money is just paper. If you want something that bad, you'll work hard for it!
It's either these or BBS', and I'm not prepared to spend nearly a grand on wheels when around my area they'd nick the wheels off a Jumbo if it flew too low.
Diamond cut TH Mono's it is then. Unless someone else can 'WOW' me!

They'll be 4x100 fitment though, so the added cost of some spacers to convert to 4x108 (which are super rare) would outweigh the cheapness of the wheels.
Good luck finding a set of polished th's though, and even more good luck finding them for <£500, in ford fitment!

I'll find a set, don't worry. I'm sure they'll supply them in the right fitment and they don't have to be diamond cut, just an extra option. Should look good though. I think I'm going with the TH Monos.

Re: Ford Fiesta Mk3.5' Projekt OEM+: Blackout
Right then, black tinted headlights. It was worth a try and there too dark...
Might aswell show you guys. Luckily I have my standards lights still.

Unfortunatly when fitting them I noticed a problem, the set aren't the same. Their two different lights, as you can see from this photo:

The light on the left fits perfectly but the one on the right sits funny, no matter how much I tweek it! The clips at the bottom are so much different than the other one. Oh well, it doesn't matter, was worth a go.
They are dangerously dim at night, so can't use them anyway.

How much light did you use inside them?!
On the mk4 you only tint the bottom of the reflector and it hardly effects it

I bought them off eBay, I wasn't going to tint my standard lights, so thought i'd buy a pair. Only a few bob, just wanted to try it out. Too dark though, ahaha!

Re: Ford Fiesta Mk3.5' Projekt OEM+: Blackout
Whoops, they are reflector headlights so the light shines off the backing. Deffo weren't going to work well in the dark, but they would look alright as "show headlights".
Have you seen the light tinting material called laminex? That might be worth a try if you still want to go down that route.

Yea subtle tint film can be quite effective, wouldn't use the dark tint on headlights.

theres also the fly eyes kit, basically a pretty way of putting your missus' tights over your lights. easy to apply, and pretty effective though

Thanks dude!
Yeah, I've got some tint film that will match the headlights but need a heatgun to heat it up. It creased alot with the first time I did it. But I might just put the standard lights back on, abit unsure on the tints to be fair.
