Looking good there, i also am not a fan of black wheels, it just looks like ur riding on steel's, but its not my car, if we all liked the same thing all our cars would be the same,

Keep up the good work :Q

Cheers for all your replies.

I like them alot. :D

im debating whether to remove the side blue strips and just keep the bumper ones. I can see the blue now clashes with the black wheels.

Im thinking about just dropping the rear a tad - maybe 25mm drop.

The stalker situation is a bit worrying -

mike_wall15 :Get those brakes cleaned!!

Cossie ones are on there way soon :Q

nicw wheels mate, agree with a=what everyone else is saying with regards to lowering it a bit, uyou say you had to space the rear wheels 5mm but you only have 195 wide tyres? i have 205.45.16 on the back of my fiesta and no spacers and there fine, weird

Bit of a colour coded update.

New wheels have made me think about losing the blue strips.

Max has been waiting for me to do this for ages so here you go.

The black trim strips have totally changed it for the better :) The black wheels looks far more at home now, quite similar to "ballin's" car before he broke it. :D

Thats the best i could do today as it was pouring down at work.

Pedal feels fine even with the standard hoses. May wack on a set of braided hoses.... But the stopping power is excellent. :Q

The black strips was only black insulation tape, didnt last long in the wet ....

Im a bit worried pulling off the bumper inserts as the last time i did it the paint came off with it.

Once i have done that its a trip to fords to get the black bumper inserts. Im still wondering whether to leave the side ones off .....

mike_wall15 :Much better!
Now go clean those wheels! :Q

lol @ Mike - They are not dirty... the inner alloy wheel has been finshed with matt paint. Easier to keep clean and means i aint got to polish the inner wheels all the time like max :D

 The inside of mine have been painted black, and I find a meguiars wheel brush reaches through the spokes nicely.

I have a black Ford bumper strip, so if you want you can go order one from them, then knock £5 off that price and have mine from me for that :)

Glad you've got some proper brakes now!
