Fiesta MK5 with a sunroof???

Postby flemming on Mon Oct 18, 2010 2:12 pm

Sorry

I know it's not turbo, RS, ST or Si related and quite boring, but...
the Mk5 Fiesta's with sunroofs, were they just tilt, or did they tilt and slide? Also, was this always manual, or did they ever offer it electric?

Thanks to anyone that can help.

Just tilt and slide mate, one that just tilts would be an aftermarket one.

As for electric ones, I don't think so, but I could be wrong...

Electric ones were available, I've only ever seen one, they tilt and slide.

They all tilt with the exception of the Calypso which has a full length electric vinyl/webasto roof.

From the sunroofs I've seen I thought they were identical to the MK3 sunroofs... Apart from Steve1127's electric one but I'm sure thats aftermarket.

Thats the one I was reffering to, which was a £1000 optional extra.

Having looked into this a bit more these were available as Accessory items, I don't think they were available as a factory option.

they were only tilt? hmm, didn't know that! Sure I'd seen a tilt and slide - but then again, it was 2004 when I was looking at a Zetec-S
