Fiesta MK4 lx Modifications
Hey this is my first post so please be patient.
I have recently bought a fiesta mk4 lx with the 1.25 zetec 16v engine, and to be honest I love it, very nippy consdering and really well put together. My only problem is I cant say i think much of the looks. I do however really like the way the mk5 zetec s' look and was wondering if it was possible to replace the front lights and bumpers aswell as the rear bumper of the mk4 with that of the mk5 zetecs? If so is there any links on the web that would show me how its done? I would probably pop down to the breakers yard to pick up the parts if i can, but if not is there anywhere i could get them for cheap.
Thanks for any help
phil

Re: Fiesta MK4 lx Modifications
thanks for the reply.
Oh right...is there any particular reason as to why it is too expensive and what are some cheaper alternatives to changing the look of my car.
The reason I ask is because i dont think the big black plastic bumpers suit my fiesta at all :S
cheers

Your car is the same as mine lol I think i have found a kit that I like it isnt too outrageous and doesnt cost too much. Im gonna do some colour coding and Im gonna remove the black stripe from the side. When I have paid my insurance renewal I will start saving for the kit.
Cheers

Re: Fiesta MK4 lx Modifications
I have been googling around but cant seem to find a site that shows me how to do simple and cheap mods that improve the look of the car.
Does anyone know any sites like this?

To be honest, there isn't a huge amount you can do to a MK4 Fiesta. A set of wheels, colour coded bumpers etc, lowered suspension is all you're going to be able to manage without a lot of work and money. As for inspiration, IMO one of the best MK4's around - http://www.m4xww.co.uk
