Do many people from here have broken bottom cases of there heater box where the access panel clips snap off ?

if so i have came across a ford part which is designed to repair the bottom part which plays a vital part in keeping the heater matrix sealed in the bottom.

Any body interested ?

From ford they work out £1.01 each inc vat

I had to wait 5 days for the minimum quantity of 5 to come in so I assume they come from Germany,
So who ever needs some would need to order in packs of 5.

They come in packs of 5
So two per side will surfice & will give you one spare.

And also, out of interest, does this area actually fill with coolant? When you say it is important so there isnt any leaks...

I thought the coolant just went into the pipes within the radiator that is fitted inside the casing?

No its not too late at all

im still awaiting payment from some ppl. When i say leaks i dont mean with water i meant that when you dont have the bottom securely closed the air that passes though the heater matrix from the outside will come out there rather than go up to the vents or screen.

I've recieved the clips this morning from Ford motor company so those of you that have paid will see them early next week.

For those of you that haven't paid
The finis number is : F1656530
A local ford main dealer should be about to obtain them but remember the minimum quantity order is 5
