On a positive note, the show was much better than I expected! Well done to all at FCGB and I hope the show continues next year

Re: Fiesta In The Park 2015 - Godmanchester (10/05)
Well, It was a good weekend (-:
Got the ferry op from Hook of Holland to Harwich Friday evening, and arrived Saturday morning.
@ 9:30 Saturday (yes a day before) we arrived @ the venue, and just 5 minutes later the officials of FCGB arrived.
We were there with 3 mk3's from Fiestaclub.nl.
2 of them went to see London (as we don't come over that often) and 1 fiesta stayed behind. My codriver and me helped out with FCGB (a bit) plotting down the tape, and club-signs.
@ Noon we visited Triple R Composites, to pick up an order we made earlier. , as TRC is just 10 miles from the venue (-: Nice blokes (-:
Got back to the venue to finish up. It was windy and wet.. but later it became dry.. but the wind stayed.
Had some Local Fish, chips and beans in tomato saus.. (thanx FCGB for that)
Checked into the hotel, and closed the night off early.
Sunday started early (although FCGB were already there)
Put our cars on the stand, and re-arranged the FCGB stand a bit to host all their cars.
Washed and quick detailed the fiesta.. ... enjoyed the rest of the day .. sun nice atmosphere.. and a lot of fiesta's
Not as big as before, but that was expected. Spoke to a lot of people.. seen a lot of nice cars (for me mainly the mk1/2 and 3's .. even though my wife runs a decent mk7)
Joined the Tug of war as a substitute for one of the teams.. and nearly pulled it off beating Ox-ford :-p
Picked up some nice goodies for the mk3:
- Rare aluminium Cambelt cover (and now have an autospecialist one for sale)
- Chromed rocker cover
- "hot" T3 heatshield
- dirt guards for in the buckets
Later closed off with FCGB with cleaning up the venue (removing signs, pegs and tape, picking up garbage etc)
And went back to the ferry (another nice 2 hours drive to Harwich..
And came home this morning...
I haven't seen a lot of Fiestaturbo.com (to be honest) but had a great weekend.

I did put up a post asking but it got deleted, so I presume Wayne can't be arsed any more.
