Re: Fiesta In The Park 2013 - Huntingdon Racecourse (12/05)
Regardless of what anyone may think I've been a staunch supported of FT, the "official" staff and the "unoffical" staff who've put in the time, effort, blood, sweat, tears and money into organising show stands, merchandise to help fund "nice things" for the membership (e.g. gazebo) and done entirely without a thought toward recouping their costs or further financial gain.
Moreover, the membership has operated semi-autonomously for a long time now without input from "staff" (that's to say, moderation team and admin), attempts to change that dynamic without being thoroughly open and honest is likely to scupper what is left of this enterprise and annihilate any goodwill currently borne by members.
If I were Ade, at this point, I would simply shut up shop and turn FT into a portfolio site and pass off the board operating costs to freeboards or similar. It's a simple, straightforward solution that requires little-to-no input and will save a few quid into the bargain.

Andy you're not green anymore?!
I think this forums worth saving to be honest, maybe a little more promoting might do the trick.

I'm not moderating any more, I don't really have that much to offer or contribute to this site now anyway. I don't own a Ford (next car will be Japanese, possibly ford related but more likely not) and haven't really done shows in ages.

Hey I know um way past the strict march 16th cut off point but if there's any tickets left I'd love to go. Unless could I pay at the gates? My car's not worth showing so I'd just need to pay entry. Plus I might be in a golf lol

Printing out envelopes and sending the tickets out this week. If anybody isn't putting their car on the stand but has bought a ticket, please let me know asap so I can reallocate the vehicle pass to another car to keep the stand full!

Re: Fiesta In The Park 2013 - Huntingdon Racecourse (12/05)
You did say that you'd be bringing another car though.
If this is no longer the case then please let us know so that we can re-allocate the stand pass to someone who will definitely be bringing a car.

Looking like a disaster already. From what I can see, only 18 cars are going to be on stand *sigh*

Have you told Wayne that you won't be coming at all now Michael? We want to give others who missed out the opportunity to be on the stand.
Yes, we do have a stand at Ford Fair.
