I think it's pretty obvious from that video that the engine isn't really "running" is it cos it sounds like a bag of s**t

Re: Fiesta BearBerry Si 2.0 runner 5th ford
hi everyone finally time for u all to see my 2.0 fiesta on the dyno
the car cost me £750 pound
ive spent about £300 pound on parts to get the car perfect
filters, oil, coolant, wishbones, gearbox mounts, belts, switches, fitting indicators, wheel clyinders, wax oil, exhuats bits i.e all the niggles
engine cost 125 with auto box and all ansillaries which sold at work and made 60 so engine cost 65 pound and the driving to babingtons in leeds to collect the engine
ecu was 50 for a dewy ecu from scrappy in wigan
maf and throttle body were free from work
oil and filter before the swap were £15 pound
the exhasut system was a swap with a guy from nottingham you know who u are
the h&rs coilovers are from rhys which cost £165
cossy brakes were £275 all in one new caliper, on scrap one, omp discs and pads and refurb kit and paint
wheels and tyres wheel were £75 plus £30 to refurb them myslef/ tyres yokohama prad spec 2's were £145
so all in all has been failry cheap the k&n, speakers and other bits along the way didnt cost much but still make a diff to me
anywho here the pics and videos

thanks everyone for all the help

Crikey, a dyno run with no fan- seen it all now!
Should hopefully be nearer 130-140bhp soon, it's what they made in the repmobile's Mondy after all...
Got those coilovers for a good price

Re: Fiesta BearBerry Si 2.0 DYNO VIDS AND 125 BHP
yeh i did get em for a good price
took 3 weeks to get em though lol
well i know the box and the manfold / cat are killing it and i think ill do the plug gaps before ther next run lol
im aiming for 150 for the time being or 145 ish so an st fiesta cant run away
then when im at uni after a year or 2 im gonna treta myself to throttle bodies and then get an oil cooler and then wait for a while till i decide wether to turbo it or just enjoy the power im v happy with what it makes now as doesnt drink and the powerflow is quiet

Re: Fiesta BearBerry Si 2.0 DYNO VIDS AND 125 BHP
yeh but it still handles gr8 so im happy and even with an engine and 8 alloys in the boot with my 25+kg tool box back still didnt rub as the coilies have given a lgith adverse camber
no adjustable tops needed lol and gonna remove the cat tomorow and fix the fan belt as the tension still isnt right lol but by tomorow evnign should have the 130bhp i want and just wating on an ebayer to refund me for the wrong ecu they sent then i can drive to brummy land for my rs1800 box gonna strip and clean the box paint it gunmetal grey and redo the seals then refit with synthetic oil and a new inner cv boot and some cv grease and my car will then do 130mph on the dyno i worked out the car does 4 miles to a litre if not more so not bad really as that was on twisty roads with a heavy foot
ive also refitted the sub as it was in the garage and wont make that much difference with a 2.0's torque

home made decat fitted, replaced the bottom tensioner on the fan belt and seems to have freed up revs alot before u woudl build speed and as u change gear the engine would slow down now it keeps going
just need the rs1800 box and a fully synthetic service then find where the coolant leak is ???

try blowing air into the radiator cap with an air line and see if you can get the leak to spray water, then it will be easier to find, if not just drain it then blow air through and you will definatly hear where it is coming from.
tidy car now mate,
what saxo did you have, i had one for a year, great to drive fast, uncomfortable, noisy etc.

Re: Fiesta BearBerry Si 2.0 DYNO VIDS AND 125 BHP
i had a mk2 vtr spent 2.5 k on it and had a few custom touches like my 4-1, stainless decat , piper system, custom air box, custom intall ect lol was sexy lil mofo but couldnt handle s**t at speed was scary and when doing 110mph was overheating, but my fez never had that issue and was always ace handeling wise
hence my now 2.0 si lol i would go back as the saxo may have been newer and sexier but chavy and not safe at speed, so a lil compromise with an older car thats now sexy im happy lol

id be slightly worrdied about a saxo that doesnt handle at speed, lol.
contemplating a toy when i turn 21 but not sure what to get, see what is about at the time.
i built a vts engine for my vtr, 4-2-1, p+p cylinder head, and other stuff, just couldnt get it to start due to electrics and stuff.

yeh the vts engine is a work of art lol but mine was crap at speed granted was standard supension but i had toyos and good brakes but when cornering at 60 it would slide and skid and really got to me as i wanted a safe mean fast car so it had to be gone
