fao mk4 owners or anyone who knows about boot releases!
This has probably been answered before but im lazy so im gonna ask anyway...
can a mk3 boot release be fitted to a mk4? and how much wiring do u need from the mk3.. are there already wires on the mk4 leadin up to the boot and does it just need a switch or what?
help me cos im useless!

not sure about the mk3 boot release, however id fit a mk5 into a mk4 boot (not sure what the mk4 ones like) but the mk5 is cable operated instead of rod operated being much more reliable

MK4 ones are cable operated too. No wires are already there - and if you don't have an alarm you will also need to get a switch for inside the car to operate it.
