No not a dvd writter drive mate just a dvd drive. Could be used to rip dvds into VCDs though. Comes with the drive and lead that connects via the card slots on laptops and this gives both power and data via this connection.

25 posted? Want to check it all first though as havent used it for ages as has been sat in a box in my spare room but worked perfectly before i stopped using it
