esrt,hydraulic lifters question
hi all, what position should the cam lobe be in when you put the lifters back in, is it when you cant see the lobe

wouldn't have thought it mattered m8, as they move up and down anyway when the cams turning, when you put them back in, lube them up with cam lube that you would get with a performance cam kit, or use a smear of Hypoid gear oil on them. Don't use normal engine oil, as this will run off them leaving them dry prior to starting up. Something you don't want.

Always use new nuts, EVERY TIME you undo them, and always do them up to exactly the right torque - no more, no less, regardless of how slack the rockers feel (but make sure your torque wrench is reasonably well calibrated).
