Re: diary of a zetec turbo build - ENGINE FINISHED! 20-05
dangerousdave :nice work buddy i hope your at ford fair in it!!??2weeks to prepair it
aint going to happen mate! really wanted it to be but its still at jamsport and after i get it back from there its got to have a drive shaft made, then an exhaust and then everything else fitting and then the omex mapped to the engine.
2 weeks simply aint enough. may make trax in it tho... will have to see!

bout 2 months, not in any rush for it really and told them this as they are developing a few bits for the new RS so mine isnt really a priority and thats fine with me.
if it wasnt there it would just be sat in my garage so no real difference!

Re: diary of a zetec turbo build - ENGINE FINISHED! 20-05
will pop out to the garage now
EDIT
well had the car back about 2/3 weeks now but been busy sorting other cars and also not got the car at the unit where all my tool are now stored has been a little bit of an issue meaning ive not spent any time on it as such, however the engine and box are in....
the maifolds going to cause me a little issue with the rad but that will be sorted by moving fans and or a little cutting of bits as slam pannel has got to go and be made removable anyway!
so couple of pics of jamsports handy work

Re: diary of a zetec turbo build - ENGINE FINISHED! 20-05
no where near finished mate!
in between building this i have managed to build 2 zetec s' and now got myself a cat c racing puma and another racing puma shell which needs a little work!
all in all this hasnt been touched for a couple of months now which is a shame but needs must!
oh and the inconel manifold was a steal at the price ive paid for it and in the grand scheme of things the total the project has cost me for the zt and gearbox isnt too bad... inlet is going to be the most expensive thing as i want jenvey throttle bodys and plenum!
