Looking good there chap - time to take that dump valve off and enjoy the chatter! :D

Thanks for the comments

James they're superb, so much better than those crappy standard ones. I'm trying to get into the habit of braking later (a lot later).

It got ridiculous with the standard one's but now these babies stop me sooooooooooooooo much better without me pooing my pants.

Thanks mate

They're s**t

Might as well have had two holes cut in floor and stopped it with my feet flintstone style.

Thanks Dave, been contemplating going back to standard bumpers but i think the cossie front now looks spot on with the cooler behind it.

looks very nice mate.
how did you mod the fogs and indercators to fit in the bumper without hitting the front panle out of interest?
i had to take the plastic water cover off the back of my spots and rap it in plastic, lol

Did exactly the same as you have done.

The set of indicator covers i got of ebay were a lot better than the original ones i got with the bumper. Used a dremel to cut the plastic back so they sit more or less perfect!

hmm, i didnt cut the back off the indercator, how you keep the bulb in? make up ya own holder? as this is what i plan to do, but need to get some indercators without the orange filter in them other wise the bulb will hit it,
oh, that splitter looks the nutsack in black mate, i plan to do mine in black when i can find a bumper to put on my car for driving around ( got a couple of cracks to sort too)

Its been ages since i've done anything to the fiesta but now its off the road things are going to happen.

This will probably be the final work carried out on it before i call it a day (spending wise).

Some bits i've assembled

Brand new AP Paddle Clutch kit for a stupidly low price of £150

Image

OFAB ecu and beiges. ECU was picked up for a bargain £60. The injectors cost £70 and have been cleaned and flow tested with new seals fitted etc at a cost of £80.

Image

An uprated fuel pump brand new unused, again another bargain at around £75

Image

Finally a knackered hybrid T2 with uprated actuator which will be used in exchange for my new unit.

The turbo was in bits but i put it back together saturday morning. I wish i'd have taken some pics really so people could see just how small the components of a T2 are and the state the shaft was in.

Image

The engine will be low comp and hopefully producing power around 220-230hp. All this is going to be rushed through within the next 2-3 months, hopefully in time for the FT Brunters job.

If the shootout thing happens in June its unlikely i'll be able to make it due to the World Cup but i'd still like my car to be there if the organiser's allow it. So i've lined up a mystery driver who will put it through its paces.

Some say he can build engines blind folded, in a night drink a W.M.C dry all by himself, single handedly save the MK3 Fiesta Turbo and behind the wheel is faster than the human eye

Soooooo here's a pic of the geezer.....

Image

Sorry you'll just have to wait and see

I'm also changing the interior colour too. This will probably be done in stages with the plastic parts the first bits to be done. It will be toned down to what it is now and should finish the car off nicely.

A taster for whats to come, this is my new wheel

Image

Once the Fiesta is finished it won't be broke but used for shows and sprints etc and will be joined, hopefully, in the summer by another blue oval.

Will keep the updates coming in here as they happen.

Cheers
