Re: dangerousdaves not so budget zt!!
was going to go unit but look at the weather
im just on ebay trying to think of a way to make a filter for an-10 fitment!! im thinking of getting this
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/8-AN8-Blue-Anodis ... 23066074c4
and taking it apart drilling and tappint the ends out and sticking these on http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/10-AN10-10-M14x1- ... 255ac1179f
cost around 30 quid where as the aeromotive ones in usa are 4 times that plus del plus tax!!?
what do you think? and everyone else!

i am plesantly supprised the kit wasnt hiding anything too awful
then this baxtered of a job ,....

Re: dangerousdaves not so budget zt!!
yeah i did altho it dont look like it lol but ill be using that fiberglass filler in the plate first and around the welds and behind the plate too where the filler pipe went then a nice thin layer of filler over the top
should be in primer next weekend i hope! the only other rust i found on the shell was the door shuts, the big bubble i ground down and treated as it was solid the only bits to replace are a small 1-2 inch patch under the door seals in the corners both sides!
well happy with that

Re: dangerousdaves not so budget zt!!
lol, i just been reading up on it
main reason i did all this is cuz i dont want anymore rust on this car ever again so f**k the filler cap off! lol it just looked like a rotten 20 yr old xr2i, i want it to look tidy but standardish
ill give anything a try mate, look at my bodywork
never done it before but looks solid to me
lets hope the fudgekin spewedhumps round here dont knock my filler out lol

Re: dangerousdaves not so budget zt!!
cuz i dont wanna make/buy a custom cradle for this pump and my custom alloy cell is foam filled exept for the sweep of the float and sumped so the bottom acts as a swirl pot so has the feed from the bottom of the tank
ill post picks up when i collect it in the week

Re: dangerousdaves not so budget zt!!
i only payed a little more than a cossie pump for it so cant go wrong really, only 119 quid and rated to 700 bhp with the right lines
all i want is to get this up and running in the next few months might even buy a megasquirt next month still, i know this engine wont take much power or abuse i just got my t3 rebuilt and ill pick it up wednesday its had the works on it 360deg bigger thrust washer bla bla etc ect but on this decomp plate im only looking for 200-220 ish for a year or so while i build a blacktop 2.1 then hopefully it will drop straight in and be running again the same week
