sjoyce666 :thats a ZT from the description not a ZVH
ZT = Zetec Turbo
ZVH = Zetec bottom end and CVH head

Scott
What on earth are you babbling on about?! Zetec block plus CVH head = ZVH! And of course it's a ZVH turbo, who the hell would build a N/A ZVH? Take your pills Joyce

Sorry bud all the above will go as a whole engine. I would prefere it like this so i know it was built as a full engine and would really like to know the final result as i have put a lot of time, money and effort into this build and would like to know the end result.

TBH, I see turbo'd ZVH's as a huge waste of potential, but at least then you have the advantage of being able to use the CVH turbo manifold without modifying the head. Why would you want to take off the 16v head and modify the 8v head to fit the Zetec block and leave it N/A after stripping 8 valves away from it??
I'm sure there are reasons

To keep costs down like if someone is running carbs and a dizzy on a cvh then a ZVH would be cheaper than doing a full 16v zetec.

Aparantly 8 valves give better low down torque than 16v motors. O and the reason i went for a zvh over a full zetec turbo is because i wanted the enginebay to look as standard as possible with it being in a series1

heeman10 :Would a TB'd ZVH perform better than a straight 16v Zetec??
but the reason i ran mine on throttle bodies is that i build the ZVH before the throttle bodies was fitted.
When you say TB'd you mean that up agenst a Zetec on a single body? then yes

Alps Pacino - Appreciate your reasoning

- That's what I was looking for. If the TB'd CVH would out-do the Zetec then it makes sense, only if you already have a TB'd CVH lying around anyway. TB sounds are much more fun than OE inlets

£1600 for the head and bottom end alone, including all pumps, bolts, sump, gaskets, and series2 flywheel and ap 4 paddle clutch etc(reason for including the clutch is that the bottomend got ballanced with the clutch so i want it to be sold right for the buyer)
£300 for the turbo
£200 for the cam kit plus pully
£300 for the nos kit
£150 for the focus rs brembo front calipers (used but in very very good condition)
£400 for the pace charge cooler kit suited for a series1
£150 for a scorpion full system suited for a series 1
Loads more bits available most for a series1.
Remember all parts are brand fire new.
