Brake Painting
when painting brakes can you just get sand paper and smooth them down and then paint them?

I didnt sand them, just cleaned them with brake and clutch cleaner, then knocked the loose bits off and then just painted over them.

just get a wire brush on them, then get some brake cleaner on them, then paint up

Used a wire wheel on a drill to clean up mine followed with some brake cleaner. My callipers looked new before I painted them lol. Fronts were done with Foliatec brake paint, drums were done with some matt black vht spray paint
