Body Kit for 5dr mk4 Fiesta
I have recently found myself with a stock, 5dr mk4 Fiesta. I have seen a kit i like for a fiesta on essex racing, the link is:
http://www.essexracing.com/product_info ... cts_id=266
The kit is shown on a 3dr car, and i was wondering if i could put the kit on a 5dr...? The side skirts are my biggest worry. Any help would be appreciated.
Regards, Max

for one, the kits fooking horrible, but if you really want it then the sideskirts can be cut and the bit that comes round could be on the door and abit on the arch, any good bodyshop could do it easily

I don't think the pic does it justice, with a nice paint job I reckon it would look nice, maybe a bit OTT.
Not seen many kits for the Mk4 but I like 'The Prophet' Kit
I'll stick with my XR2i kit....it's not even on yet (if anyone has a red front bumper out there, PM me..3 of my mounts are snapped!)

if u reli think it looks good get it.
make sure they throw in some free neons and lexus lights for that price though. maybe if you put the company name, bodykit manufacturers, other makes etc down your door you will get sponsor money, and with that you can buy 10exhaust pipes and a boeing 747 rear spoiler.

Ms Design bodykit .....
subtle on a mk4 works a treat, its got such bubbly lines that make it errr 'soft'?
start chucking big bodykits with sharp lines on and u ruin the lines of the car.
you need to look at the lines of the car and see what would work best with it,
in my opinion, a modified car looks much better if the lines flow and it looks to the point where it could have come from the factory with the bumpers etc on.
smoothing can work well, adding stuff that doesnt flow ruines the car in seconds. those big fast n furious style spoilers on a fez is a no no,
if the bumper sticks out a mile from the car or is square when the cars round, makes it look stupid and out of place.
You dont even need bodykits to make a car look modified,
e.g. this mk4 i did on photoshop a while back,
it has a splitter smoothed into the standard bumper, and a basic sideskirt
then all i did was slam it on its arse, give it a crazy paint scheme and a custom bonnet/wings.
fairplay mate, be different, that the best, but dont go the wrong way about it.... at the end of the day, modifying your car is about changing things to how you like them, it also expresses yourself, so if you want to look like a shovel, wack that kit on.
theres some top lads on this site and they will all give you good advice, its just theres been so many chavvy things around that put a big downside on modified cars so we all tend to jump at those people.
dont get me wrong, if thats your style, big kits can look good, theres a few guys on here with big kits, but they fit the lines of the car and it just works.
anyway, i will stop boring you
hope this helps in someway

defo go for the subtle idea on a mark 4, its too rounded for a square jap kit, euro is the way for mark 4's, i'd say get ms design kit, get it smoothed into original bumpers, smooth tailgate, maybe de handle back doors, put it on some 15's and slam it and your onto a winner, big jap kits should stay on jap cars
