Akala is Ms Dynamites little brother and owns his own record company... :)

Some of his stuff is quite good. But if you're a rock "dude" you won't like it :)

Westwood is a total tugger.... but Akala is actually a genius. Even if you HATE this sort of music you can't deny this is absolutely brilliant!!

he's under-rated in a major way. Not many people even know he exists, and some of those who do dont like it cos its "black bois music" which is rubbish.

All of his tunes are good :) Haven't heard one I don't like yet.

Oh I'm gonna be making up a couple of Akala CD's for my car mate! Love it. It's a shame he isn't so well known. "why do" is a fantastic song, I rekon if that was released mainstream it would be big! Everyone I've sent it to on MSN or force fed it to at work loves it.

To be honest, the best way to make it big, is by doing it slowly, not just being put straight into the limelight as it were. :)

If he did go straight to be in mainstream, he would just be the brother of an already famous singer, like a lot of people do these days, so he wouldn't be making it on his own

His second decent mixtapes come out about a month ago.

Welcome to London from his first was probably the best one on there. He is a good MC.

That's a fair point! Like Danni Minogue (nealry wrote Donna... proves your right!!)

What do people think of that Freestyle? I like it when u see him smile cos he's just thought of what he's about to say!
If you look through freestyles on 1xtra most of them read off bits of paper for prompts. IMO they shouldn't be on a big radio station freestylin if they need a bit of paper, how's that freestyle? Its planned........
