Amp mounting
hey all,
just wondering is it possible to mount an amp in a glove box? i never use mine and it could go under the seat but dont want to get kicked as i use my back seats.
o and btw its a mk5 fiesta

dont see why not if it fits?? or attach it to the parcel shelf/sub box of back of ur rear seats if you dont mind putting holes in them??

Yes mate you can mount an amp technically anywhere as long as it is able to remain cool and has a decent amount of air flow running over it...it might be worth as suggested to drill a few holes in there or stick a mini fan in there mounted to one of the walls in the glovebox

the remote lead is the best as the fan will only be on when the amp is on , where as if you used the positive that will be a permant live and always on

so i could just buy a cheap computer fan? then wire the red wire to power and black to ground on the amp, [ERRR] i always play music in the car so the amp is always on [ERRR] the cd player goes on as soon as i get in the car
