Re: Again mk3.5 coilovers
I don't mean to be rude and I might of caught the wrong end of the stick but
1. why would you buy coil overs of that condition in the first place?
2. you bought coil overs advertised as they were removd of a mk3 and then moaned they don't fit the mk3.5?
those rear shocks are clearly 2 different shocks..

Re: Again mk3.5 coilovers
I don't see what the problem is? They are set at different heights, simple as that lol
But if you are referring to the bushes, the left one is one from avo, the right is an aftermarket one with no tube in the middle
Edit: Oh I seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee now!
Yeah they are slightly different for sure. Are there stamped in part numbers anywhere to be seen?

Looking at the pic, they're 2 different makes/types? K plate is mk3, never a mk3.5.

Re: Again mk3.5 coilovers
Right guys I was pished when i put up that post lol now I bought them aff a k plate with a 32 mm hub nut 16v aye and my hubs are rs1800 on a k plate now the rs turbo mk3 hub nuts are 30mm so i reckoned i had a shout at getting the right ones what with it being a k plate 16v cos the mk3.5 comes out about k plateish
but thats not the real problem i was just going to sell them on ,,its happened before and i had to sell the mk 3 ones i bought previous but its the 2 back ones thats the real problem i know there 2 diffrent shoks just needed verification ,,,I am trying to be reasonable with the guy but hes not having it saying i just need to sort out the height when there on but its 2 diffrent shoks
I just wanted an opinion I dont really wnt to open a dispute on e bay but i reckon they aint as described
what do you think

Re: Again mk3.5 coilovers
You may be able to sort out the ride height but there's no guarantee that the bump & rebound valving will match. Just open a dispute and get your money back. How much were they if you don't mind me asking?

Can you hear me now? Hear you, I can see you, ya dick
